More Than Rankings. Celebrating Every Runner’s Journey.
Rings Ranking is here! Runners worldwide can now share their annual distance and explore the regions they’ve run. With our successful South Korean EXPLORE test and new profile avatars, Runner’s Rings is taking its next step toward connecting runners across borders.
Runners around the world, connected through the roads they’ve run.
That dream inspired our new feature: Rings Ranking.
Fast runners and slow runners.
Daily runners and weekend runners.
Everyone has a running journey worth remembering.
■ Three Ways to Connect
Rings Ranking introduces three categories.
🏃 DISTANCE
Share your annual running distance with runners around the world.
🗺️ EXPLORE
Discover how many regions you’ve actually run in, verified through GPS data and grouped by country.
🌍 NATIONS
Join a national team based on your self-declared country. Participating runners’ annual distances are added together.
Participation is completely optional. You choose which categories to join.
■ An Exciting Moment from South Korea
Shortly after launch, a runner who has also been helping us test COROS integration joined Rings Ranking.
They reported that their previous runs in South Korea weren't appearing in EXPLORE.
We reran the regional verification process.
Success!
Two regions in South Korea—Jung-gu and Yongsan-gu—appeared in EXPLORE.
It was an exciting moment: real running history from another country, verified and displayed in Runner’s Rings.
A huge thank-you to our tester for patiently checking everything and helping us improve the app!
■ More Than Just Numbers
We've also introduced profile avatars.
Runners can upload their own images and choose whether to display them publicly.
We've confirmed avatar display in DISTANCE, with additional checks still underway.
Every number on the leaderboard represents a real person and their unique running journey.
We want to make those connections feel more personal.
■ Just the Beginning
We've also added a system designed to update EXPLORE twice a day.
The manual test was successful, and we'll continue checking scheduled updates.
Runner’s Rings is still a small project, but running records from beyond Japan are already becoming part of its story.
Which countries will our next runners come from?
Which streets, trails and landscapes will they share?
I can't wait to find out.
More than rankings. Every runner has a story.
Connecting those stories across borders is the future we're building.
Map the life you run.
