走破画像を「その地域だけ」にした理由

地域走破をSNSで共有するとき、最初に考えたのは「地図をそのままスクリーンショットすればいいのでは？」という方法でした。
でも、それではRunner's Ringsらしくありませんでした。
主役は「どこを走破したか」
たとえば群馬県を共有するとき、栃木県や埼玉県、長野県まで一緒に見えると、視線が散ってしまいます。
そこで共有画像では、選んだ県だけを切り抜き、その中の走破済み市町村をピンクで表示するようにしました。
数字も必要最小限に
共有画像には、走破数、走破率、残り数を載せます。一方で、走破済み市町村名の長い一覧は入れません。SNSでは、一目で意味が分かることを優先したからです。

国でも同じ考え方
日本全体を共有するときは、市町村境界ではなく都道府県境界を使います。走破した都道府県だけがピンクになり、国全体の進み具合が見えるようにしています。

At first, it seemed easiest to share a screenshot of the map. But that was not the clearest way to express conquest.
The selected region should be the hero
When sharing Gunma, neighboring prefectures distract from the point. Runner's Rings therefore crops the image to the selected region and highlights conquered municipalities in pink.
Keep the numbers simple
Shared images show progress, percentage, and remaining regions, while detailed lists stay inside the app.
