Runner's Rings
Why Runner's Rings Lets You Switch Between Auto, Area, and Route
Runner's Rings offers different ways to look at the same running history. The map used to switch automatically as you zoomed, but now you can choose between Auto, Area, and Route.
Area view shows how far your running world has expanded
When every road is shown individually, it can be hard to see how your territory has grown over months and years. Area view is designed to make that expansion visible.
Route view keeps the actual roads
The memories often live on specific streets: a commute you ran again and again, a race course, or a road you happened to discover while traveling. Route view preserves those exact traces.
That is why Runner's Rings keeps both
Area alone loses the detail of the roads. Routes alone can hide the bigger picture. We see them as two different distances from which to look at the same running life.
Making the map itself part of the experience
Runner's Rings is not only about numbers. Moving around the map and rediscovering roads from years ago can be part of the joy too.
