走った地域がカードになる。制覇カードを作った理由
地域走破を作ってから、次に考えたのが「達成した地域を、もっと手元に残せないか」ということでした。そこで生まれたのが、制覇カードコレクションです。
市町村は「初走破カード」
初めてその市町村を走った時、その地域のカードを獲得します。カードを取るために特別な距離条件を増やすのではなく、現在の地域走破と同じ考え方で、GPSの軌跡が地域を通ったことを基準にします。
「まだ走っていない隣町へ行ってみよう」と思える、小さなきっかけにしたいと考えています。
都道府県と国は「COMPLETE」
都道府県は、その中の市町村をすべて走破した時に完全制覇カードを獲得します。国についても、Runner's Rings側で下位地域を定義できる場合は、その地域をすべて走破した時にCOMPLETEとなります。
カードは、あらかじめ作っていません
世界中の地域カードを画像として事前に用意するのではなく、地域境界とそのユーザー自身の走行履歴から、その場で描画します。
その人が実際に走った軌跡が入るため、「前橋市のカード」ではなく、「あなたが走った前橋市のカード」になります。
ALLと年別を分ける
生涯の積み重ねとしてのALLカードと、その年だけで再び達成する年別カードは別に扱います。過去を大切にしながら、今年もう一度走りに行く理由も残すためです。
カードはプロフィールの奥に隠さない
制覇カードは設定項目ではありません。Runner's Ringsで遊ぶための機能です。そのため、アカウント欄のすぐ下に「制覇カードコレクション」を置き、いつでも開けるようにしました。
走った人生を、集められる形にする
カードは順位でもスコアでもありません。走った場所と時間が少しずつ増えていった証です。何年後かに並んだカードを眺めた時、「この頃はここをよく走っていたな」と思い出せるものに育てていきたいと思っています。
Why We Turned Conquered Regions into Collectible Cards
After building Region Conquest, the next question was simple: could each achievement become something you can keep? That idea became the Conquest Card Collection.
Municipalities become First Run cards
When you run in a municipality for the first time, you earn its card. We do not add an extra distance requirement just for cards; the same GPS-based region conquest logic is used.
They are meant to create small reasons to explore the next town or city.
Prefectures and countries become COMPLETE cards
A prefecture becomes COMPLETE when all of its municipalities have been conquered. Countries can also become COMPLETE where Runner's Rings has a defined set of supported subregions.
The cards are not pre-made images
Instead of preparing thousands of static card images around the world, Runner's Rings draws each card from region boundaries and the runner's own activity history.
Your actual traces are part of the card, making it your version of that place.
ALL-time and yearly cards are separate
ALL-time cards preserve your lifetime history, while yearly cards give you a reason to rediscover and complete regions again in a new year.
The collection is not hidden inside settings
Cards are not a settings feature. They are part of the experience, so the Conquest Card Collection is placed directly below the account area where it is easy to notice and open.
Turning a running life into something you can collect
These cards are not rankings or scores. They are evidence of where your running life has taken you. We want the collection to become something you can look back on years later and remember.
